Project Auditing provides companies with a/an:
- Additional accountability model during development and construction
- Transparent process for project completion
- Resources and tools necessary for project close out required by funding entities and/or federal regulations.
The auditing process can encompass compliance and fiscalization in areas pertinent to the construction process including: safety and health, environmental and social impacts, subcontracting, change orders, purchasing and equipment rental, bonds and insurance, taxes, quality assurance and reconciliation of project expenditures including payroll, among others. Project auditing can be provided as part of project/program management services or FEF can be brought in by the contractor or owner as a third party auditor during or after a project has been completed as a means of monitoring internal processes.
